Rolland Vaive obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1993. In 2003, he founded Vaive and Associates Professional Corporation. His vision for the firm was to offer excellent advice, deliver the highest level of service, and be recognized as a trusted advisor to all.

Rolland has practiced Canadian Taxation for 30 years and regularly advises on matters of corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, estate planning and matters affecting high-net-worth individuals. In addition to his role as the firm’s Managing Partner, he has taken his many years of knowledge and leads the Vaive and Associates income tax practice.

Rolland has completed the CPA Canada In-Depth tax programme, as well as the specialized courses on Corporate Reorganizations, Wealth Preservation and Advanced Tax Issues for Owner-Managed Businesses. Rolland is certified as a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) and Certified Public Accountant (Illinois). Rolland previously served as a president of the Ottawa Chartered Accountant’s Association and was a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa.

In his spare time, Rolland enjoys travelling, swinging golf clubs, and doing stand-up comedy. Yes, you heard that right. Stand-up comedy.
