Rob obtained his designation in 1983 and was a partner for seventeen years with Moffatt LeBel Chartered Accountants before joining Vaive and Associates. His practice has been focused on the areas of accounting, tax preparation, planning and advice to small business owners, professionals, and individuals.

Over his career, Rob has served on various volunteer boards, including the National Capital Region YMCA-YWCA from 1989 to 2004, during which time he was Board Chair for a three-year term from 1999 to 2002.
